Black Box Summer Theatre Camp

Kristina Rodriguez is a deaf student at Lakeland High School.  Last year, our chapter sponsored a trip for Kristina to attend the Black Box Theatre Summer Camp at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC.  Kristina will be our guest speaker and she will share her experiences with us.  Join us for this presentation and to meet others who have hearing loss and seek to help others to manage their hearing loss.

We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm, located at the First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33801. Our meetings are in Multipurpose Room A.

Meet a new friend who may have the same hearing challenges as you. Learn from the group and frequent presenters.

Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services are provided at all of our meetings. This service displays the spoken words on the screen for all to read.

Our meeting room is “looped” which will allow you to turn on your t-coil on your Hearing Aid or Cochlear Implant. The sound is great…. you will be amazed!
