Hearing Loss Association – Lakeland Chapter

The Lakeland Chapter is sponsoring a Hearing Aid Recycling Program.  The purpose of this program is to collect new/used hearing aidhearing aids and get them in the hands of those who are financially challenged and need to manage their hearing loss.  To learn more about our Chapter, see our Mission Statement.

Here is how the program works:

  • New/Used hearing aids are collected by our Chapter via this web site, recycling boxes throughout our community, and drop-offs.
  • These hearing aids are then inspected to determine if they need to be refurbished, recycled or just cleaned up.
  • Our chapter works with various organizations, local businesses, audiologists, hearing aid specialists andhearing aid others to determine how to best re-purpose the hearing aids.
    • We can only accept behind-the-ear type hearing aid.  It is not necessary to provide the case, box or owner’s manual.  You can submit one or more hearing aids.
    • Please only send hearing aids that are in working condition.
    • A receipt (for tax deduction purposes) will be emailed to you upon receipt of the hearing aids.  You will need to specify your request on the form below.
